Just received the new annual Muley Crazy "Mexico Edition".

All I can say is WOW!!! 40 bucks over 200"!

Biggest non-typical ever harvested in Mexico!

Womens record, biggest net-typical ever!

A 40" giant. A luck hunter who killed 2 giants.

It looks like it is cover to cover with great bucks. My 1st Mexico Muley is on page 39. I know what I'm doing the rest of the evening.

Do you need some ALONE TIME with your magazine? You know you'll go blind right?

LOL! J/K

Got mine yesterday too! Congrats to BCBOY, Saskman, Huntsonora and any others I might have missed when I flipped through the pages. I can't wait to get back home and read the stories!

Drum, that Sonora buck fight looks INTENSE!!! Great pictures!!!

I still havent seen this issue, but it sounds to me like there are some absolute HAWGS in this issue.

I dont know about the rest of you, but those sound like some "Illegal Aliens" I would have no problem crossing over the boarder! :)

Can you buy just this one copy, or do you have to subcribe? I'm really only interested in these Mexico muledeer. Sounds like a great issue to have laying around the house......

You can get single copies without a subscription from the magazines' website.

great job high 5 your story is great you got a great buck. This copy of muley crazyis great tons of smokeing big bucks

Wow, I enjoyed the whole dang magazine. Just got done reading everyone of them. Long flight! Drum, I enjoyed your piece of the article and the pics. I am sure there are a bunch of you other fellow MM out there, great job on yours as well.

That has to be the best magazine of quality animals that I have ever seen assembled.

What a year in 2005 for the Mexican desert.

Did any of those hunts get captured on film? That would be fun to watch.

LAST EDITED ON May-08-06 AT 00:09AM (MST)[p]We did not get any of our hunts in the magazine on film. It was too bad, some of the hunts would have been perfect to film. We could have gotten Vernons on film for sure, Bobbys we might have been able to get if a camaraman was ready and with Vinces it would have been tough but we knew he was in the cholla there so it was a possibility. It was a hell of a week none the less. It would have been nice to have video to share with all of you the excitement of the hunts but for the 4 of us on the hunt I can guarantee that we will never forget that week. It just does not get any better, 4 great friends, a great ranch in some of the best country in all of Sonora and 600 inches of bone in 3 days.

The fight scene was INTENSE! I will post more pictures in a couple of days. I want to make sure that everybody has their copy. Those that are not subscribers to the magazine I will try to entice to subscribe with some pics.

I received my copy last night. It's an awesome issue!

Congrats. to the MM folks that have stories and photos.

If you don't have a subscription, you're truly missing out!

That was a great issue. I am just puzzled how that one guy in there (forgot which article) had enough time to go hunt mule deer in 6 states and harvesting 5. How can one afford the money and time to take off work to pay all those outfitters, tags and airplane tickets? I just wish i was in his shoes.

Also are any of those mexican ranches high fenced? I know there are some ranches down there and they legally can put bighorns, etc in them.

Stupid question but what do hunts run down there. Low-High? What time of year?

Mothers Day was a perfect time to read the new issue. Kept my wife happy sitting around with her listening to her chat up a storm while keeping my eyes glued to each and every page of PURE MULE DEER ECSTASY. Truly a treat to see such magnificent animals. Wow. Total awe. This quote from Cowslayer sums it up the best............

I guess I'm the odd man out. The "Mexico" edition of Muley Crazy is the only edition I dont read. I have no interest in reading stories about guys buying they're big racked deer.

But if you have a large enough wallet, anythings possible

Just my Opinion....

I am sure your not the only person that feels this way, your just the only one that showed your ignorance by saying something.

Drum

Ignorance how?

Because I have a different opinion? Granted I grew up in the west hunting public land, so I see the shooting (buying) of deer a little differently than someone from say Texas, but how was I showing my ignorance

Just curious?

How many times have you been to Sonora Mexico hunting mule deer? Who were you hunting with and what did you harvest? I doubt you have ever been there and you come on here making derogatory remarks about others. Thats ignorance!

I look forward to seeing your pictures and reading about your easy hunt.

Drum

Never been to Sonora, Mexico and I have no interest in hunting Sonora Mexico. Having someone else do all the work for me and then me just showing up to pull the trigger just isn't my idea of a fun hunt. Is there anything wrong that opinion? And its not with just the Mexican deer hunts. To be honest I rarely read any story that starts off with "I booked my hunt with..."

I realize some folks are into that and thats fine, and others like me aren't. Whats the big deal? I'd just rather read the stories about guys hunting our (CO) most heavily hunted areas on public land and taking home a big buck.

As for pictures and easy hunts, well I did help TennVol who just posted up a picture of his CO GMU 21 deer.
