I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about Unit 35 in Colorado. Is the deer and/or elk hunting any good? Is there decent public access? Are there big crowds? Are there large enough areas between the roads/trails so that it is possible to get away from the roads. not looking for any specifics, would just like an overall impression of the unit from someone who has hunted it within the last few years.

Thanks,
Jody

Lots of public land, lots of access, lots of people. You just about can't get away from them...

I hunted 2nd rifle season there last year and the above is true.
I does take 2 or 3 plus miles to get away from the atv's and orange.

Thanks for the replys. In looking at the unit, I saw that it had a ton of BLM land which usually comes with lots of roads. Its tough to find a good roadless area these days. Thanks again, and good luck in the up coming draw.
