Btpatriot,

13A is also considered the strip. There are two units, 13A and 13B.

Actually, ALL of units 12 and 13 are part of the AZ Strip -- that "strip" of the state that lays between the colorado River and the Utah border. In recent decades, however, common usage of the term normally refers to units 13A and B -- west of the North kaibab. -TONY

Got drawn for 13A with no points 2 years ago... Nothing like hunting the "strip" what a great hunt.... I must say though Colorado City had to be the strangest town I have ever visited!!
It was like stepping back in time.

Share some of your thoughts on the strip you that have spent time there. How remote is the strip ? Did it seem peaceful being that far away from civilization?

Thanks for the the responses guys. Yeah, you always hear about how remote the area is? Is that really the case or are there small surrounding towns just not on the map??btpatriot

St.George is the small only surrounding town,Bundyville or Mnt Trumbull as it is called on the map is just a few houses and a schoolhouse. When you get out that far you need everything cause there ain't no 7/11 or circleK out there. The 13b&13a side of the strip is a super place just to get away from anyone. When you get to the airstrip at Busters you are about 70 miles of dirt road from St. George.See ya Mav
