Drew NM Unit 2C-Need Advice

Drew rifle tag for New Mexico Mule Deer hunt no 106-1, Nov 4-8, Unit 2C. I need some advice on private land and/or outfitter to guide me in that unit. Thanks.

Landowner will not do you any good. Mostly BLM - some reservation and some Forest.

I do guide in 2C you can email me. 2C has some trophy deer in it for sure.

I checked my app#'s this morning as I applied for 2B rifle hunts first two choices , and when I saw successful , I freaked out ! Grabbed the proclamation to see which one of the hunts I'd drawn , only to find I'd drawn my third choice , a muzzle loader hunt in 38 .Still I'm very happy with that hunt as I've had some great luck in 38 on bow hunts.
Congrats to those of you who drew unit 2 rifle and bow hunts , they are by far the best mule deer hunts offered in NM .

Great to hear from you! Yes, I got a beautiful Bighorn with Edith Nagy and Pat Deuling. I wrote a story about the hunt and FNAWS published it this month as their feature article. I will call you tomorrow. Can't wait to hear about your Dall hunt.

Just returned from two weeks of fishing in Canada and checked the draw results. My brother and I both drew NM 2C late September muzzleloader tags! We have never hunted this unit, any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated? I have lots of experience in many western states and Canada and very willing to share information - - - Thanks
