New Mexico - Unit 2A - any advice?

Hello,

First time poster. But have lurked for a while reading a lot of the great posts. awesome site.
Anways, applied for NM this year and me and my dad drew the -1-100 hunt. Unit 2A in november. If anyone has any advice or info they dont mind sharing it would defintley help in my research.

most of 2a on the west side is private. there are some good bucks in the pump mesa area, or i know some of the land owners on the laplata river if you are interested send me a pm

"Navajo Reservoir",will show the above areas in 30X60.Hunt "LATE"and Hope for WEATHER --- Good Luck

thanks. i thinking of getting Navajo Reservoir and Farmington Quad.
Would there be any other maps that anyone can recommend to cover 2A? NM BLM shoes Carson National Forest? but seems like thats east of 2A (with exception of that small sliver to the west)

any advice on other maps? thanks again!

ive thought about it. but this will be my 1st out of state muley hunt. would rather just do it myself. spend time with pops and grandfather. doesnt matter if i score a trophy or anything for that matter. just looking forward to doing it myself this time.
