Idaho Results - You can see them online!

They haven't offically posted yet, but never fear, there is another avenue! You can go to the Idaho fish and game site and enter your license # or your social and your name and birthdate. That will take you to your profile page. Select Save and Continue at the top and then it will take you to the license page. Choose "Tags and Permits" at the top and if you were lucky enough to draw, it will show your tag right at the top of that page, above all of the general tags available.
I was on the site early yesterday morning and sure enough, my controlled Big Buck Tag showed up! I didn't know if it was a glitch or the actual results, so I logged in with my brother's license # and he also drew.

Shelby, how can you have possibly drawn a controlled buck tag this year? There is a mandatory 1 year waiting period and you drew last year???

No I think he is right as I pulled up my wife and it shows that she can purchase her hunt # 1024 tag and it wont show that on me my daghter or my freind and we all put in for that hunt so I am guessing that she drew a deer tag in Idaho also you can call a licence agent or go into one and see if they will let you purchase your controlled hunt tag

I did see where it shows what hunts you put in for but it is not that page that shows if you draw or not its the next page

Clynt, you can actually click the box next to your controlled tag, or just click on the actual text and it will take you to a screen where you can buy the tag right there online. I did that yesterday.

To you other guys, you must not be looking at the right page. The limited entry tags are right at the top of the page, IF YOU DREW ONE. They are listed above the NonResident Archery Antelope, NonResident Elk, etc.

For your non-believers, here are some examples of what the pages look like. You need to click on the "Tags and Permits" link at the top and if you have drawn a Controlled hunt, it will appear at the top of the page as in my example.

Its true guys. You can check it. I checked our hunting groups numbers. We drew nine cow tags for unit 59 and nine buck tags for 55. Shelby what buck tag did you draw?

I can not believe our luck this year. My self and a friend from Kentucky drew the same mule deer tag on seperate applications. We will be hunting mule deer in unit 54 Idaho. I grew up in that area no the area well. Sounds like a good time awaiting.

if I want to get an Open tag in unit 48-49 can I buy them after the draw. Also will they sell out or can I wait and get one later in the month?

Don't feel alone, I thought I would draw in Montana with 2 points 65% chance nothing. Utah 7 points nothing. Nevada 8 points nothing. Colorado 2 pts. nothing, California with max points nothing. Idaho control hunt nothing. Ariz. will be nothing. Wyoming? New Mexico nothing. I will be heading to Idaho again, kill some nice bucks there so it be fun no matter what. As long as you get out and hunt thats the main thing. Mike
