A Good Start!

Cowslayer and I managed to get out and do some scouting this weekend and found a couple potential shooters. Here are a few pictures of a buck that could be awesome if his forks end up being good. He just barely started to split, so we will have to wait and see how good he ends up being. The pictures were taken through a spotting scope with a point & shoot camera and they are not very good, but I thought you might like to see them anyways. Enjoy!

That buck, really "Made my Day", I think we ought to call him Dirty Hairy or Burrito. What do you think? Just think, he has about another month and a half to grow.

I'm glad you like the pictures even though they are blurry and ect. Cowslayer e-mailed me a few more from his video camera. We figured that the 2 biggest bucks in this herd could possibly be shooters. Unfortunately, we didn't get any good footage of the other good buck we found. Hopefully we can get some more footage in a few weeks and maybe put a couple on the wall this fall
