The 2B hunt is a migration hunt. There is a big influx of deer about the same time the hunt starts. Lots of deer - you have to wade through a bunch of smaller bucks.
To find the big ones you will need some good areas. - good glassing points ect.
Get behind the locked gates and away from the majority of the traffic. lots of roads - but a lot of areas are locked for oilfield service only.
There will be a lot of road hunters.
Scouting before Nov 1st will not be very productive.
The rut starts to kick in about that time and the big bucks will start to come out.
Our outfitted camp produced some big deer last year.
