In all of my years of applying in AZ I have always found out well before either by the internet or by phone if I got drawn than by a CC charge. AZ isn't like NM, you're wasting your time if you're checking your CC.

Results will be out between Wed. (tomorrow) and fri. They almost always come out the week b4 the bowhunter happening in Williams AZ.

I spoke to the AZGFD draw department. I was told the following:
+ They have not started the draw process. They are almost done loading the applicants into the computer which will take a couple more days - then they draw.
+ After they draw, they need to shut down the system for 40 hours to allow the 3rd party company to post the results.
+ They believe the results page will begin the 40 hour shut down on Friday with the results available on line Saturday or early Sunday.
+ This assumes no issues between now and then.
Unless they are trying to throw me off, look for Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

You know its funny... if I was standing in sportsmans wherehouse talking to a friend and saying the same exact thing I said in the post you made fun of and you were to just walk up and make the smart mouth comment you made in your post... I would've popped you in the mouth. Its so easy to sit back and be a smartass on the internet and say anything you want here. Maybe you should chill out and have a sense of humor like mentioned in the AZ post on the general forum. Why do you have to be so up tight and serious? Am I berating you? No. Am I saying anything bad about you? No. Am I accusing you of anything? No. I am having fun with something you said, had I said it and you said the same thing I would have been fine with it. Seems like a whole lot of folks are getting worked up over something, they in reality have absolutely no control over! Historically the switch has been flipped on Friday at 5:00 when they are headed out the door to eliminate putting the employees through the grief. Given all the issues this year if it's done ahead of schedule they have done an excellent job! Good luck to all in the draw!!

CHECK YOUR ACCOUNTS!! I have a deduction form the G&F totalling $78.00 which is my elk tag. If you look in the General forum under this same topic a whole bunch of others have gotten hits as well, just in case you think that I am making this up. Good Luck in the draw.

It's true, CC are getting hit, check it out
I just had a $400 charge hit my CC from AZ Game Fish Dept. I guess this is an elk tag for unit 22 or unit 9. Of all the years to finally draw - I now have 6 tags for this year and not enough vacation time to use them all. I guess this is a good problem.

Just the possibility of a tag in our house is great. I hope this isnt just an error and that we actually do have a tag.........hopefully my son's tag, we applied for either species jr. tag so he can shoot a muley or a coues..........he is pumped up right now. It seems like a lot of people are getting elk....doesn't that seem a little odd? Anyways, I got hit for deer. Was really hoping for a lope tag so I hope they're not done charging yet.

I have to agree with AZtrophyhunter. There seems to be a ton of people drawing tags. I wonder if there is some kind of screw up and they are hitting everyones cards. Hope not but wouldn't doubt it. I can handle the strip and archery elk in the same year.

I am starting to think that these hits might be a mess up. I just don't hardly believe on seperate applications that my son and I would draw the tags that we applied for. If it is legit than I will be one happy deer hunter.

Don't get the blues just yet. Someone from another sight called and they just started hitting cc last night. Its also possible that your account won't show the transaction for a couple days. Personally, I'm not gonna even check mine until I see the real results.

Got a hit on the card I put all my 13 year old son's apps on. Looks like he will be hunting deer in Arizona!
Nothing showing up on my credit card yet though. My cousin is pretty bummed as he put in with me for elk again this year and it isn't looking good. He told me he is going to apply with my son next year........

I'm with you Arizbwhntr I can handle Archery Elk and Strip Deer but I was only charged 400. I know alot of people that haven't had their cards hit so I don't think it is a screw up.
