LOST BULL ON FISHLAKE

Hey everybody, just need to throw this out there for anybody hunting the Gooseberry area above the campground this fall. My brother-in-law shot a 6 point bull last Sunday (Sept. 12th). We tracked him for 200 yards with great blood, found the back 1/3 of his arrow and then nothing. Not a drop. We searched the area for the next four days looking for the bull and/or birds circling the area and the whole bit. If anybody happens to run upon this bull please let me know. Thanks.

I have lost an elk on the mountain and found him 2 miles away right by water, if I had advice it would be to go to the nearest water that's where I found mine. Good luck, sorry to hear that.

where did u last see the blood? I am in that area all the time.

Last blood was on a ridge half way between the sluffs west of Sheep Creek and the main Gooseberry Highway. Pretty much up on the ridge just southwest of the campground. If you happen to run into it let me know. We'll probably be back down there next weekend hoping to smell it out. Thanks.
