like to see some pictures from the last couple years or so of this hunt, something to get me pumped up.

Here is a friends buck from two years ago. Late Entiat buck.

Nice buck. It is no accident that record book and near record book bucks are coming out of the Entiat but.....Shhhhh.

WDFW biologists, thankfully, put a permit system in place for the Entiat because it had become too popular. The permits have restored a quality archery hunt so your no longer tripping over other archers. There are only 310 permits issued; photos and great hunting stories are not going to reduce the competition for those permits. Most of our clients would rather keep quiet and pray for another chance to prey on the Entiat monster muleys.

Lets talk about the Desert or Quilomene.
O.K. let's soom more Entiat bucks.

I understand, but I also figure the type of hunter who cares to come on this site already knows...besides I need to see some pics.

How are the fires going to affect your fall at this point?

LAST EDITED ON Jul-30-06 AT 00:53AM (MST)[p]Bornforhorns,
It appears to be very likely that the Early Archery season and High Hunt in that part of the Clark Unit within the Entiat drainage will be closed. We are contacting 31 hunters to see if they are interested in hunting other parts of the Glacier Peak or Alpine Wilderness. We do not ezpect the fire to affect our General Season pack-in hunts. We definately do not expect the fire to reach into the winter range or areas with road access. The General Season in October should be fine or even better than normal (the Entiat High Hunt harvest zip). More big bucks for the migration; if it snows early enough to start them moving.

We hate to see the Winthrop country burn. That is in the upper end of the muley's critical winter range. We hope this cooler weather will make containment possible.

OK. Let's see some archery buck pics. Cheers, Dale

Thanks Dale, I know one of your clients this fall that could be very disappointed from the news of that post.

I'm gonna have to come see you sometime.

A lot of the hunters on this site do already know but a lot of people just surf the net and don't know. It's nice if people just go and do their homework and not spread everything all over the internet where everybody can see it. Good luck to you on your upcoming hunt.
