Buck on fire!!!

Very cool antlers! I'm sure someone will pay that much for them. $1500 may be too much to start the bidding though. We'll see! Thanks for posting

Hey, is that a spotted owl mount setting on the chair? :)
Wonder what it is worth?

I have a hard time beleiving this one. The photos dont fully make me believe that this hasnt been fabricated. Also, an oddball buck that has been dubbed "The Flaming Buck" should have a few references to it on the Internet. I couldn't find one on Google.

Considering this seller has almost 1000 Ebay transactions with only ONE unhappy buyer tells me this rack is the real thing, no doubt about it.

No way would I pay $1500 for a rack that I didn't shoot myself. I may spent that much money on gas driving to Wyoming in October.

I'm with searcher, I'd sooner mount a doe on my wall than buy a rack someone else shot.

Interesting thoughts, people collect pretty much anything, from depression glass to Hopalong Cassidy memorabilia to Beanie Babies. I think antlers are pretty cool thing to collect. Not to take credit for the original harvest, but to admire and show and give the respect the game deserves. Was this rack better off in somones attic being eyed up by the local house mouse, or to be purchased by a "collector", (public or private) that appreciates its uniqueness, preserves it and displays it for others to admire? I have a feeling if you guys were multi millioneres, your ideas on what is acceptable to pay "top" dollar for and what wasnt, would be a bit different. Unfortunately, there is a fine line between collecting "unique" wildlife displays and the greed the sellers seem to aquire when cash is waved in front of them. Thats a whole different post all together.
