new mexico deer tags ?????

has ANYONE received your new mexico deer tags yet ? I drew deer & lope, got the lope never got the deer tag ? is it lost ? should I ask for another one ? hunt is in october but still

I don't have mine either. F&G said if I don't have them about one month before the season opens to call them back. The said the rifle deer permits only went out 2 weeks ago from tomorrow.

just me as far as me goes ? I have one for the first hunt unit 24. I got my 'lope tag and already used it. they told me when I got my lope tag they had sent the deer tags out, then another two weeks later I asked again and they said they were sent, that was a month and a half ago.

I was wondering if the folks who got theirs held rifle tags or had ML or archery. F&G said the rifle ones only recently went out.

I have an email from the on the 10th of july saying they were mailed, another from the 18th saying they were mailed, another from the 25th saying they were mailed on the 18th, and another from the 31st saying they would be mailed very soon?

I'm not ready to fault F&G as they have been very good to me in the past. Does the vendor send out the permits? I will worry in October and ask for a duplicate then.

I got a reply from a woman at the g&f late friday afternoon. she said most if not all have already been sent. however there is one "batch" they have had alot of problems with and mine is most likely in that. she apologized for the other replies I got where they told me mine was sent three different times already, including the guy who told me mine went out with my antelope tag and I should look through my mail as I should already have it- dickhead ! anyway she says one batch was actually lost/deleted and they are working to fix that problem now, I "SHOULD" have it by the end of august- if I do NOT have it in my hands by september the 15th I am to call her directly and she will send out a duplicate tag to me. I guess thats an answer ? better than "we already sent it, and you need to buy another one" right ?

Michael,
Looks like we have the right address. As far as been told different dates for when we mailed your Deer tag, it's because we mail them out in batches. We had two batches mailed out so there would have been different dates. Sorry for the confusion but with well over 60,000 licenses to mail it can get confusing for us too. It's hard for us to nail down an exact date for one particular license but at this point we do know that we had a problem with the deer rifle permits and we are working on it. Give us until the end of the month if you haven't heard anything by then give me a call or e-mail me and I should be able to give you some more information.
