Debbie's first bull

She took the bull with a muzzleloader at 8 yards. Even though the weather was very hot we were still able to get into a few bulls bugling. Had it been the week before it would have been awesome. A 71 year old man, who had never killed an Elk before, killed a gross 409 about 300 yards from our camp with a muzzy the day before we got there. One I think the outfitters were chasing during rifle. The date change in Utah for muzzy definitely had an impact on hunting the rut this year.
