I was down there again this past weekend looking for bulls. Only 11 more days until the big hunt starts. This summer we looked over both the north and the south ends of the unit. So I feel like we have a good idea as far as the country goes. Now that the other hunts are over and the weather is getting cold we are trying to find the elk and more importantly a good bull. Any last minute suggestions on areas to check would be awesome. Anyone see any good bulls this past week while chasing bucks?

I also wanted to take a minute and thank all those that have sent emails and private messages this summer giving support and suggestions while preparing for this hunt. It has been quite the year, feelings of both excitement and nervousness. After so many years of applying for a tag it feels like quite a bit of pressure now that the hunt is almost here. I feel that we have worked hard and spent alot of time, both on the unit and shooting the rifle, so know it is time to go make memories with family and friends. And of course to harvest a big bull.

I am very interested in how your hunt turns out. I have never hunted the Pahvant late, but may put in for it. Please post your results... Thanks

Good luck to you, I also have a late tag down there this year, lots of time spent down there. Saw a lot of bulls and learned a lot of new country. Hope you have a good hunt.
