Beaver Late

Anyone on here hunting the Beaver late?

I am interested in finding out more about two late hunts, Pahvant and Beaver...Thanks

beaver late can turn out to be some really steep country to work with. then when u think ur bout to close the deal someone sneaks up on u and sticks their foot in ur stomache.

then u have to start all over again. personally i think theres just to much pressure on the poor guy when he decides to hunt beaver late. however if u like a challenge then by all means have at it

We have hunted it the last two years and have another tag this year. We have taken two great bulls and hope for a third this year. It is a pretty tough hunt with lots of glassing and hiking.

ITS A TOUGH HUNT, BUT ITS A GREAT HUNT IF YOUR DETERMINED AND LIKE THE CHALLENGE. KILLED 2 GREAT BULLS ON THE LATE HUNT AND MY BUDDY MISSED A SOLID 380+ BULL LAST YEAR ON IT.

I have hunted Beaver early and late, sometime non-stop for days! You should hit it hard, any chance you get! It makes me wish I was out hunting Beaver right now!!
Remember, everyone you pass up, is one you can't make up!!!

I know my friend's older sister took a bull in the 350-360 range off the Beaver late Rifle. That is the only one I have heard of so far. Sounded like it was a lot tougher hunt than they have had in the past, since both her huband and other family friends have hunted the same unit in the last three years with a lot more success and huge bull stories.
