Going to be hunting Escalante Valley for muzzleloader. Is there
any good desert hunting in this area, or with in the unit. Not
an expert in hunting heavy timber.Any information would help. Thanks Mike
South of Escalante there is over a million acres of wilderness area (Grand Staircase Monument) that is mostly desert and huge rock formations. If you know how to hunt the desert, you should be able to do very well!
Quickdraw, is a lot of water were you are talking about? Is there a certain range you might hunt. Not asking for your area.We rented motel by escalante, if it is a long drive we might need to change location for lodging. Thanks Mike
