Just currious if anyone has seen big bucks in this area. Seems its over rated! I've been all over this area for the last 5 weekends and have not seen anything over mid 170's.

Your not gonna find much better than a 170 class deer in that area.

THERE ARE A LOT OF NICE BUCKS IN THIS AREA. I HAVE A COUPLE OF BUDDIES THAT PULLED FRESH SHEDS FROM THE AREA THIS YEAR THAT ARE HUGE. TWO OF THE BIGGER BUCKS WILL SCORE IN THE 220'S THIS YEAR.

I have seen a few bucks in there that should be in the 190-200 range just driving along the highway. I would bet there are even more back in the bush.

A 170 net buck is no small accomplishment. If all the bucks talked about here and in the "crazy" magazines actually scored what they say they scored the B&C book would be three feet thick.

believe what you see..........5 weekends you seen just about what it offers.... a few hogs are their (at lease 3 hogs)! however there in Colorado on vacation and will be back mid Oct!

After everything I've seen, after all the hours of glassing the bush, after miles of dirt roads and now the feedback that I've received here. I'm now back down to earth!!! This is not the AZ Strip or the Paunsagaunt. A 170 buck is a nice trophy and it will do for this area. Yes, I do think that there is a couple of 190+ bucks. But, I also think that they live in another state this time of year. They may not return for many reasons as well.
