Well, here is the finished video of my elk hunt as filmed and edited by my brother in law. Thanks Joe! The last few minutes are footage of my little 310-320" bull as claimed by a few. Hahaha. Enjoy, Joe did an excellent job.

Note: You will see my bull for a few minutes towards the end. When he walks behind the trees is when I got my shot and you see him run out of the trees in the left hand side of the screen.

Nice video man and nice bull! IT has no audio though. It says the audio track was not authorized and was removed by Youtube.

nice bull. lots of character. Man ole big pa pa is a toad. So close to him thought you was gonna stick him. but tripod is a very very great bull

Great video, thanks for sharing.

As a confession, I would have never guessed the score right either just from the pictures. I would have guessed 340-350 range...not that it matters, a trophy is a trophy no matter the score.

Yeah, I think 7x's are a little deceiving. Plus what he lacks on the back end he makes up for in the fronts and on mass.

We were withing 15 - 50 yards of Big pappy for probably a good 30 minutes, but were stuck behind some oak brush and couldn't get a shot. Then once we got around the brush the cows walked up to 10 yards away and after a 5 minute stare down busted. They kept trying to get away, but the bull wouldn't let them (there was another big 6 point he was trying to keep them away from). Those shots where he looks so close were actually 70 and 90 yards out. He is a beautiful real symmetrical 7x!

Happy with the bull I got though.

I spent four or five days chasing a huge bull on the Book Cliffs Archery hunt this year. So I know the feeling of getting close to a monster, but not being able to pull it off. I took a good bull later in the hunt, which I am still thrilled about getting. Looking back, I am still very happy with the bull I got as well even if the biggest one got away. To me, that is what makes hunting fun and hard at the same time.

Incredible footage!!! Looks like you had an incredible hunt. I'll have to say that big 7x7, Big Pappy is a bull everyone would die for.

You can do an audio swap on Youtube, but not with your own new audio, only what is available on their list.

You basically have to delete the whole thing and put some other music that is not so popular in there to keep it from being cut by Youtube.

Again Congrats on an incredible hunt and bull.

Cheers,
Pete

nice video!!! If you uploaded it to www.monsterhuntclips.com the audio would work.. Stupid youtube disabled your audio.
