mule deer and whitetail rut time coincide???

I live in N.W. Montana and have been huntining whitetail exclusively for a long time. The rut here is in full swing around the 3rd week of November (Thanksgiving) yearly. My brother and father are wanting to start hunting mule deer this year. Do the rut of the mule deer usually run around the same time?? Somewhere I heard that the mulies were a "little" earlier. Any info out there folks?? Thanks a bunch..k2bbq

it depends on the weather. I live in south eastern idaho, our rut usually starts anywhere from the first week of november until about the 14th have seen whites start as late as last part of november....depends on the cold fronts. Just go watch the does, and if you see little bucks start being around does, it is gonna be time. Anyways have a good one hope this helps
