Here is the photos of the buck, these are pictures from my camera, I was there. Mark Hogan is the hunter and has given permission for these pictures to be posted.
Mark is a great man who has pulled off a great hunt. I'm honored to be one of his close friends. Those pictures where pulled because I didn't wasnt them there. Plus, they had my ugly mugg in two of the pictures and I don't deserve any credit. He's 38 inches wide and scores 264 non-typical and 217 typical. This was a self guilded hunt, with no big paychecks or no big guildes. So, please be respectful.

Stunning country and animal.. THANK YOU for posting the pictures. Its great to see him end the season with such a magnificant animal! Talk about making the most out of a once in a lifetime tag!!! Way to go!!

That is an awsome animal. My freind has a muzzleloader tag for the same area the buck was killed in. We have been scouting and have seen some good deer but I would love to talk to you or Mark about what other deer you may have seen in the area.
 
So lets hear it! Did Mark and you all scout a lot? See any other bucks that were considered? Tell Mark to get on here and fill us in on the hunt---Please!

That is a beast of a buck. Did you guys get any good video of him alive? I'd like to see what that bad boy looked like feeding around on the sidehill. Send a clip and I'll post it.

Congratulations to Mark. A buck of a liftime that most likely will not be topped by Mark or anyone he knows.

Absolutely fantastic Buck!!! The kill of 1000 lifetimes, no doubt!! So will it book in both categories? Or were those gross scores? Not that it matters, at all.....




 
What a buck!! Congratulations to the hunter. I'm glad to hear that it was self guided. That is definantly some beautiful country.

Congrats to Mark and his crew. You guys give hope to all of the rest of us that big (monster big) bucks are still available to the normal down-to-earth guys.

I hate to sound like a broken record but does anybody know where this buck was killed? I am not looking for GPS coordinates just a general area. Thanks.

I think the 10k was offered by the Gov Tag holder, not Doyle Moss. Doyle isnt even the guide... Its Tori Brock.

I think its awesome that He turned down the cash and took a once in a lifetime buck!!!!!

Sorry man, But I can assure you that the gov tag holder would have paid that bill NOT doyle. You know that as well as I do. I "heard" it was Tory who actually was the messenger for the Gov tag holder. But does it really matter? Seems to me that EVERYTIME something big is killed there has to be drama.

Im seriously not trying to debate anything with you. Doesnt really make a difference to me, but it shows that Mark stuck to his guns and Killed a great buck!! That is more important then trying to cause problems and calling people "greedy".

Its nice to see an average joe kill a buck of this caliber. Congrat Mark on a beautiful buck. You and your buddies did good!
