Ted Nugent's Big Buck

Has anyone else hear the rumor that Ted Nugent shot a big monster on the La Sal mountains in Utah? I heard he shot it during archery season and it could be a new state record for Utah archery. Can anyone confirm this, or is it just a rumor. Thanks.

I do not know what you guys are talking about. I love "Spirit of the Wild" and Uncle Ted. If nothing else he is one funny dude. Just watch his show to be entertained and you will be. If you have to make comments to your wife and kids about how he is such a bad man then it is not fun.

I have been a Ted Nugent fan for over 30 yrs. (musicly and politicly)

You either love Ted or you hate him, but you gotta admit that as a spokesman for hunters rights we could use more like him.

Does he offend some people by being so outspoken?, sure, but I admire people who are willing to say what they think instead of sounding off behind closed doors and then when it's time to speak up they tuck tail and hide.

Uncle Ted is all right. A little strange, but all right..
He really enjoys the thrill of the hunt, regardless of the size of the quarry. And he is a great spokesman for the hunting community, and entertaining. And Charmain isn't too bad either!!
I think the "Rock & Roll" ponytail scares off a lot of people, but he does say what he thinks...
Uncle Ted Rocks!
I have not heard about any monster buck he has killed lately though.. You would think it would be all over the place if it had happened..

Actually I know a guy who sez he doesn't mind him. He neither hates nor loves him. Personally I like his older music. He went to crap after he fired Derek St. Holmes and started spewing his alpha male rhetoric...

Seriously, Ted MIGHT be ok, he is a good spokesman for our sport, tells the anti's where to go, and is enthusiastic. But he hunts WAY too much inside of a fence for me to watch his show. All his jibberish about the "mystical flight of the arrow shot from my hubba hubba renegade bow, unleashing the super-sonic-zebra-painted arrow tipped with the shaving sharp really pretty nuge blade, that double lunged the beast and blah blah blah blah........ I can't stand it.

Ted does do too much "inside the fence" hunting, but he is fun to watch and shows his excitement over anything he harvests. That is something we all should try to do a little better...

I think you an ktc are being a little selfish fighting over Charmain and need to expand your thinking a little.

Get ole' Ted the wealth tag and coordinate the new season of Wanted Ted or Alive to correspond with the hunt dates. Based on past participation there would be more to choose from than just Charmain, so you guys wouldn't have to argue. Ted could go out and bag a trophy and include the field dressing and meat packing portion of the show. Then everyone would be happy.

If you choose the original plan, I don't want to even think how Rocko will fit into the equation.
