What a beautiful deer, I wonder is its a pure albino, dont albinos have pink noses also?

piebald or something like that i think is what it's called. i don't think he's albino technically
but he is beautiful either way
we had 2 albino whitey does on our gun club property for a couple years back east.
no one would shoot them

I have witnessed albino fawns and does but never a buck, especially that size, really nice! hope it's not fake.

He's just getting ready for the upcoming hunts. He just put his snow camo on a little early. I don't know if I could shoot him. Just one of those critters that is more special to me to see running around rather than on my wall, but don't take it that I think any less of anyone else who would. He is a trophy regardless of color!

That would be one expensive taxidermy bill....cause if I got that bad boy, I would be doing a full body mount!!

WHAT AN AWESOME DEER!

Mighty white of him! Didnt Ted Nugent sing about him? Oh, that was a great white buffalo. My bad! Yep, you would have to to a lifesize mount of that bad boy!

Ahhhhh.... I remember this big boy.
Las' year, I was puff'n up a ridge, at the top, there he was! We looked each other right in the eye fer about 15 seconds, then I yanked up my muzzy 'an fired! Well... pulled the trigger any way... it went "click", 'an all the color faded outta his face... turned snowwy white right then 'an there!
Started at his ears, right down to the hoof..
Then he keeled over, stoped breath'n!
I was so taken that I e-mediately started mouth ta muzzle cpr!
When he finaly came to, I held him up in the wind-currant- like ya do a fish- 'till he pranced off!
What a day...

SO is the point that its a bad chop?? I can hardly tell the difference

no point really, just a 10 seconds of PS by a guy who dont know how to run photoshop. I believe the bucks real, I was just having a little friday afternoon fun! LOL - have a great weekend!

yeah, that was my point too, you just can't assume any photo is real anymore. The first photo very well could be real.

He looks real, it sure would cost to have him done in a full body. Man what a mount he would make if he scored 180 or above, Cabelas, Basspro, get out your checkbook here I come, LOL

LAST EDITED ON Sep-22-06 AT 04:58PM (MST)[p]A few years back we were hunting the skyline above Manti. The night before the opening of the bow hunt while cruseing a two rut I stop when a couple of bucks came out of the trees, so I got out the video camera and started filming when a nice four point buck came out follwing the other two, it was ghost white!I still play that tape everynow and then. Pretty neat to see something alittle differant:RIMROCK

That is a awsome buck but a mutant not a albino. A true albino has a pink nose and a clear pinkish hoof. It is said a hunter who shoots a albino without remorse will have bad luck!! I felt remorse it is hard to explain but it is more like an indivigual!! But yes I would shoot that buck if I had permission to hunt the land or if it was on public land. And yes it would be expensive taxidermy bill.' Nocalhonker

Looks real..its amazing that buck got that big. I think most people would see a white deer with even a few inches of antler and pull the trigger.

Not 100% sure but I think that buck lives around Meeker Colo. I know a few people that saw him last winter, But I think hes put on quite abit of growth, he was just a deasent 4 point last year. The river in the back ground looks like the white river, and the highway also looks like the one heading out of meeker towards rangely.

Maybe he's an albino and maybe not. There are different degree's of albinism and you don't have to have the pink eyes to have the genetic condition. A friend of mine has a ranch and he had 5 -6 white deer on the place about 20 years ago. Everyone of them was a doe. Over time each one was killed from cars on the highway.

Beautiful animal! I honestly don't know what I would do. If it was a deer that people have the ability to see regularly and enjoy for his rare genetics, I don't think I could shoot him. That being said, if I was in the back country I think I would take him but, when you walk up on something like that your heart has to sink a little more. You would think how long it could be before nature brings another one around.
