The deer situation this year is pretty sad compared to the last few. To my knowledge, all units except 1 are above 15 bucks/100 does. Personally, I would save my money and put it in a more deserving place. Good luck
The whitetail population is doing fantastic, if you can either get on the private land or find the public spots along the bottoms. They are also moving up into the hills. If you have a boat there are some good areas that are public just across the river.
Last year the late snows pushed many mature muleys down and the harvest was pretty high. I think that dinged the population a little.
