Hay Garrett nice cover shot on Fishing and hunting news. You should go on a book autograph tour. One cover shot was not enough so you had to get your dad the raffle tag this year. How it the scouting going.

Thanks man!! i got home yesterday evening from a long day at work, and i couldnt believe what was sitting on the corner, my beautiful buck and my ugly mug. I really had no idea that it was going to be on there. I am really happy.

And the Dads raffle tag, its going, mostly just out driving around checking out different areas. Havent seen anything worth getting excited about yet. Its really hard to think about shooting something now when you know you got november and even DECEMBER right around the corner!!!

How is your hunting season going so far??

Can you post a pic of the cover please? And how did your dad get that? Did he draw it or buy it and what raffle was it for?

Hey Garrett, Sounds like you are livin the good life! I hope you find your dad a real "Book" buck. I did not draw, dang, 7 points!Maby next year and you can tell me what you learned from helping with your dads tag. I will be over in your part of the country for all 9 days of the general season. ellensburg, hows the hunting there now? I grew up there moved after my 2nd year of college. Its been six years or so but I was curious as to how things had changed since i left.

Hunting in Ellensburg??? One word: CROWDED... I guess our elk herds are some of the best in the state but I don't hunt deer here anymore. Not many phesant but lots of quail.
