Are my pictures too graphic?? (from my other post?)

Ok this is wife again...I have a question for you. I posted my hunting story and pictures on another board. The board that I posted them to was a women's board. Now mind you many of them love deer meat and some of their husbands hunt. But there also were some that were fuming mad that I would post such graphic pictures. I didn't think my pictures were graphic. I really try to be sensitive to cultural differances but am I out of the loop on this one???

To be honest... I could see how someone would think that your first picture was a little graphic, mouth open, a little blood dripping, the pose in general. But I think the other three are quite good, I esepcially like the second picture, that is a fantastic picture!!!

A woman's board? As in a womans hunting forum? If it was a hunting forum that shouldn't be a big deal.....if it was something else, then I would imagine some people would be offended. I read the story, it was awesome & the pictures were great. They weren't gruesome at all. Good job, screw what they think.

I think your pictures are all awesome. You should be very proud of yourself. That's a great buck and you worked hard for him. Usually when people gripe and whine it's because they're jelous. You did great!

The funny thing is 95% of them sit at home in the evening and watch that plastic surgery channel, or some other violent show.....now that is graphic.

I thought you did a great job of making sure they weren't too graphic. You will never please everyone and you pics were done in a very tasteful manner. Congrats on your deer and enjoy!!

I don't think your pics are graphic at all. Some people are just real sensitive when it comes to dead animals and blood. I killed a buck in CO 2 years ago.I had my 4wheeler in the back of my half ton pu so there was no where to put the buck except on the 4 wheeler rack. I pulled into a walmart parking lot to run a roll of film in to get developed. The next thing I know this lady is pelting me with a rash of of bad remarks about how my buck was being displayed. I try not to display my animals at all while transporting them but I had no choice in this case.

They are just jealous so don't worry about what they say, nothing wrong with those pictures at all. We have seen alot worst ones on here at MM.

YOUR PICS only offend non hunters who were just educated and were done so with "top notch" photos.
They were just not sure how to deal with what saw and so hunting is not for everyone.... (and think you Lord for not making us all hunters)!

Uh yeah...I wouldn't post dead animal pictures on any other board besides a hunting board. I post on my mommy boards and there is no way I could get away w/posting dead animals without getting seriously flamed.

Hunting is a controversial topic. If you post them here where the whole idea of the board is hunting, of course you won't run into any problems. But you've got to assume that people on most other boards do NOT want to see dead animal pictures. It's bad board and posting ettiquette and women will TEAR YOU APART about it. Like a pride of lionesses. They get so nasty. If they fight that bad on those boards on disposable dipes vs. cloth, I can imagine the field day they'd all have with hunting. Just don't do it. Even if you label the post with a warning.

There are several vegetarians and one total vegetarian on the boards I post on (most of the mommies are from back East) and they all have their resons for being vegans and most include the fact that they don't want animals harmed.

I talk about hunting and they all know I hunt, and I really don't care what they all think, but out of respect I never give kill details or post pictures. I did post some pictures of some elk my brother shot once and a couple of them freaked out. Never again.

Or, you can tell me what board you post on and I'll go support you and kick some board woman butt. I'm no shrinking violet.

Those pictures are fine. Done very well. And this womans board you were talking about was for hunting so how can they have a problem unless they truly aren't hunters or jealous of you killing a nce buck.

Post them pics on how to field dress a deer and see how they go off on you then! :7

OOOOOPS, found them. That second picture was about as good of a hunting success photo as you can get. From a photographers point of view, EXCELLENT. From a hunters point of view...WELL DONE! Those are not graphic at all. Thanks for sharing.
