I made a couple stalks on this one but always got screwed by other deer. He is a freak he is so tall in the rear forks. I took these through my spotter at about a mile away. Really, the pictures dont do justice how freakishly tall he was. he was a 6X with brows to boot.

I've seen a couple really tall bucks like that in the Wyoming high country . Nice deer !!

Unless Im missing something, this buck is INSANE!!!! Not just heigth, but those forks. Holy Moly. Id love to see any more pics you have of this guy at some different angles. (blurry or not) This to me looks like a world class deer. Do whatever you can to harvest that deer, you will have to look over a million more to find another.

life IS good

it was in the high country. When i first spotted him i thought it was a raghorn bull. it was a muzz season when i hunted him and i only had a week. I knew that the deer was definitly over 200 inches right away. Hell those rear forks add up to a huge amount alone. The pictures do it no justice, you cannot see the other points he had. I was shivering and cold that morning and just couldnt get the camera held still... i was bummed when i got home and saw they were really blurry.
First stalk i was busted by a couplle doe i didnt see between us that ran right past him, second time i got within 40 yards of his buddy (175 class in velvet) and he busted me. I could have shot him but i think few would have knowing what laid close by in the bushes someplace. I was hunting alone and didnt have anyone to give me hand signals and keep me on track during the mile long stalk and overshot him.

Awesome buck, I love height much more than width, hope you get him or at least get some more pics, unbeleiveable backs on that buck. Keep us informed.

Thanks, but all the compliments on this buck makes me feel even worst about not closing the deal. Twice i had him bedded in an area i felt was a slam dunk stalk, but i guess his luck was better than mine, probably why he is so fricking big.
I would like to have hunted him a couple more days but the altitiude gave me a major raw throat, and i had plugged a sidewall in a tire on a road getting to the parking spot that i hiked from and i was worried all week i would come out to a flat tire. The POS rental didnt have a full size spare and that was haunting me all week. Note to self, Ford Escapes are the biggest pile of crap for a hunting rental. No low range and no full size spare. I was doing 3 grand hole shots to get over some big rocks. Tires were smoking, i was freaking! I could have walked out faster LOL, no kidding!

Schmalts, Nice Buck!!! If you would zoom in your camera while taking a picture through your spotting scope or binoculars it will eliminate the black cirle around your photos!!!Good Luck

HOLY MOLY !
That Thing is CRAZY !!!
