we're hunting near Ashland up high, my son missed a monster, he's sick over it cause some lady killed three days later, it was a big non-typ with a ten " dropper... 28" wide, it just made me hunt harder...

Oh man that sucks, but I guess that happens sometimes. Did he shot and miss or miss getting a shot off?

did you even see any bucks this year. I didn't see many bucks this year, I usually see a few smaller ones that I can pass on, but this year the only buck I saw was the one I shot, and still It took me 6 days, lots of does, fawn survival was up to this year too it seemed like.

Saw lots of bucks the 6 days I hunted, they are there just have to work for them. Killed an average 4 point saw over 60 bucks. No private land.

missed at under 50 yards, haven't seen a decent buck since got real hot, got some weather coming Sun - Monday
