I have been working here in California on the coast for a couple of weeks. I have notice the bucks here are nosing up to the doe?s. They also are making scrapes all over. I think the rut might be starting soon. Do they really start breeding this early in California? I knew they rubbed their antlers earlier here than they did in Utah.

It's actually a little late this year. Rut usually starts around the last week of A zone which is uually 3rd week in September. No snow and an early end to rain season is why for maximum fawn survival.

I GOT AN SUPER SUPER HEAVY MASS 5X5 W/ PLAMATED EYEGUARDS THAT WAS NECK SWOLLEN.....in X-1(PHOTO PROBLEMS).
