hey y'all, fist time poster from washington, i was hoping to tell a story about the monster i shot on opening morning, but i guess that'll have to wait till next weekend... haha. so, it looks like the snow level was supposed be down around around 5,000 feet tonight/tomorrow? anyone over that direction seeing any snow up there? i got home this afternoon from 2 days in the entiat, due to lack of bucks and it seemed just lack of deer in general i moved over to the chiwawa sunday afternoon and was about blown off the mountian due the wind! this morning was a little wet but no wind, no deer either! so far it was a pretty disapointing opener to say the least. i'll be heading back over to the area on friday, but from the lack of bucks i saw during the summer and only seeing 2 small forkies this weekend im not too encouraged. how's everyone else doing in that area...? judging from the lack of shooting prolly not much better. good luck on the rest of the season!

i scored on the opener. And have seen 3 others taken. But thats about it, and i think that is more than most have seen up there. Tonight i was up high and there is a touch of snow on top of Tyee. But with all the people driving around i am sure it will be gone. But it was snowing and still raining. I threw my first snow ball of the season up there so it was worth it haha. Good luck

Garrett
