Nice Doug, I dont know whats wrong with me this year, i missed another damn buck saturday in the same spot i missed the buck last weekend. I think he was alot farther than we were judging him at looking at a different angle. A guy we went with on friday to a different spot saw a monster but couldnt get a shot, it had a paddle with 2-3 points with it and was a 4 or 5 point on the other side, he said about 24-25 inches wide. I should of been with you on your camera shots.

Wow Bone, You picture some beautiful animals and that was during general season? You should put some crosshairs on your camera to help us that do not see bucks like this feel special. LOL

I was over in Chelan opening weekend uplake and saw tons of bighorn sheep. Some beautiful full curls. I saw 4 legal deer well within shooting range but just couldn't get myself to pull the trigger. It's big deer or no deer for me. Almost stepped on a rattle snake too!!!!! That scared the crapolly out of me. Good to see some fellers letting the little fellers go.

How did your hunt turn ou alchase? Did we get you any good info, or did we send you on a wild goose chase?

That upper lake Chelan has some TROPHY RATTLERS for sure. I had no idea about any Rams. Thats COOL!

LAST EDITED ON Oct-23-06 AT 06:46PM (MST)[p]holy black buck batman! i also passed up 3 small 3 points a goofy little 1X3 and came up empty handed at the end of the season. bone, i think that same smoker road hunter you saw was the one that pushed 3 bucks down in to my hole while he was busy stomping up the ridge... i think he lost a bet or something because i don't think he'd been outa the truck, well, ever... i dunno. i never did find the big boy i saw the weekend before the opener... i think garrett shot him... haha! oh well, looks like i'll have to wait a few weeks and kill whitey.

Ya that darn Garrett........I'm going to put a tracking device in his pocket. I'd feel bad that you didn't notch that tag, but now you get two weeks more to hunt or whatever it is for whitie. Speaking of.....you'll recognize this whitie as he will be the one over there rattlin' up some boys to take pictures of. Those whitetails are just pain wacky when they hit the rut. I've got a friend who has asked me to go to Idaho to notch that tag with him, and it is ever so tempting. I'm afraid the hunting budget has gone over just a bit this year though. I need to save up to apply for tags again next year. I think if the wife doesn't back off, I might just go for spite.
