map questions

Hi All,

Was wondering if anybody could help with some map info. I need the names of the 7.5 minute quadrangle maps for units 35 and 36. Can't seem to find them. Have a 4th season tag for those units and just need to double check some info against the quad maps. BLM and delorme maps only go so far. Thanks and good luck!!

I assume its CO?

Go to the DOW page and then to the map section hunt planner or what ever it is. Select your unit, and then click the box with the "quad index" and it will show you quad map names.

Thanks Bambistew,

Great name by the way. I have used that GMU map feature on the CDOW website but when I tried using the topo feature I did not realize you had to zoom in one click to get the topo name to come up. Thanks again for pointing that out. Appreciate the help. Good luck with you season.

Ditto on that tip too. I hadn't figured that one out.

The next burning question is: where are the FREE DRG topo map downloads? I've found sites for Utah and Wyoming, but I can't seem to find a freebie for Colorado.

Just found that it appears ALL the Colorado quad maps are availabe for FREE download at the following website.

They are available as TIFF's and TWF's (? no clue)

RIGHT ON!!!

Download now and collect the entire set.
