From what I've heard it sounds like a slaughter occurred on the South side of the Book Cliffs. Has anybody heard what has happened on the north side?

Thats an affirmative buddy, the deer were migrating to the desert and got pounded pretty good. Heard a few dandies were harvested on the north.

Its true the smoked some damn dandies!! Look for it in an upcoming issue of hunting illustrated.

That figures we're always a day late and a dollar short. my wife should have enough points to draw next year if they don't cut the tags back . do you think it will hurt the unit much with the the heavy kill? I've never hunted there so I don't know how much about the area.

Yes I did. The recent cold weather out there started to move the bigger bucks down earlier than usual. It has been similar to the hunt out there a couple of years ago with the early snow.
