Big Buck (Photos)

I saw this buck on Saturday. He is in an area that has been hunted pretty hard so far this year. I was able to get within 60 yards of him. When I took my first photo he heard the shutter on the camera and took off instantly. He has two more weeks of rifle season to go to make it through another year. I am hoping he does. He looks like he might gross score pretty good.

Wow now that's a super buck!! Good on ya to pull a sneak like that and get the shot. Hope he makes it at least long enough you get another chance for some more shots of him. Thanks for sharing these,they're great.

He is a very nice buck but I just wish I could get some better photos of these guys. I have seen some really nice deer this fall but have had trouble getting good quality photos of them. Eihter there is bush in the way, the lighting is bad or just can't get quite close enough for a good quality shot. Hopefully during the rut a couple will get stupid and stand around to get their photo taken.

Thinks have been good here. Been hunting with some buddies but they haven't been able to connect on a good one yet. I have pretty much hung the guns up for the year. I may get out for whitetail a couple days but will more than likely just be out with the camera. I put all my target stuff back on my bow this weekend. I need to get back into practice for after Christmas. We are looking forward to heading out to Alberta for some 3D shoots. Have you been doing any more hunting or has work been too busy?

Shot my buck way back on sept 2 with my bow. Just hunting with the camera now. Here is the one I got. he was about a mile and a half from this one I photographed.
