180 plus

This really blows anybody that has ever had this happen to them knows what I mean. About a month ago I posted pics. of a big buck that I thought would gross score around 185, everybody thought I was nuts. Well I now know for a fact that the buck gross scored 187. A man I know harvested it, I have been watching and filming this buck for the past 3 years. The guy who killed it didn't even have a clue what he had harvested, he thought it was just an average buck. My jaw dropped when I walked in his garage and saw the bucks head cut off laying there I automatically new what buck it was. I am still sick to my stomack. These are the best pics. I could get, the first are of him about 3 weeks ago.

Nice buck! Good pics on the hoof. Horrible pics of the Texas chainsaw cafe. I thought they only had whitetails in the lone star state.LOL

MEAT STORAGE LOCKER!
If you look in the back ground you can see the wheels they use to hang the deer, beef, pigs, and elk because there are a few elk in the picture aswell on the rails in the MEAT LOCKER. I would think if you owned a cutting shop/ meat storage locker and had 10 guy's bring in their game that is not skinned or taken care of, it might take you awhile to get them all skinned and hanging. Just my 2 cents

I have been watching this buck for 3 years and each year he has put on about 15in. of horn growth I figured with one more year of growth he would get over that 190 mark and mabey make books. You have let them get some age if you want to kill truly huge bucks, plus I wanted him to spread his genetics. But we will never know if he would of scored in the 190s now.

It just goes to show you that they don't have to be wide to score well, but not everyone realizes it.

Oh, it also goes to show that I'd rather be lucky than good. Kill more big bucks that way.
