Many of you read my earlier posts on 1st and 2nd leg success by the Citte folk. Well Mrs. Citte put her tag on another nice buck this past weekend to complete her Two state, two cheater bucks quest. The oly thing left is for Clynt to hold up his big end and bring home a bruiser. Heres a recap.

1st Leg, Amy's 27 inch 4x5 WY buck

Thats 10 years of great Bucks right there! Amazing.....

:( Somebody didn't like bouncing betty :(

Thanks all

Shane

Yes that is the same deer as she missed on wed we found him again Saterday morning and had another miss but we looked for him again and found him beded with his does it was way cool as my wife was PISSED that she had missed this buck twice before and infact passed on some bigger deer to get this one in her sights again and sealed the deal with a GREAT 200 yrd shot.

Sorry to here your dad went home empty handed but I am shure you both had a great time

Anyway everyone it was a really great hunt in Idaho we met some great people like Shane and seen lots of nice deer infact we seen about 20 to 30 bucks a day and 10 to 20 of them where good 4x4 and 3x4s we had a really hard time finding a buck that my wife wanted as she said she wanted somthing with 4 good points cheaters and good eyegaurds this buck filled the bill and infact was quite old when she shot it I thought he would be a 3 or 4 year old deer but he was aged at 8.5 years old and has very worn down teath as I had said earlyer this buck got away from us twice before and my wife just wanted to harvest him so it made it really interesting to watch as she passed on some better deer but I dont think we seen anything better then 175 and this buck is about 160 so kinda in the same ball park I would say that this unit was a little over rated but still holds some great numbers of 160 to 180 deer and I am shure that there are a few bigger I would love to draw this tag for myself as we had a ball up there

Thanks all

And I hope to post the fourth leg soon as this will be the only tag I had for 2006

Great buck Amy!

You guys sure have had a great year. I hope Clynt doesn't feel too much pressure ; )

Thanks Yellum for posting the pictures. I wondered if you would call this one the "Third Leg Success". It must just be me, but some how the title paints a different picture too me then I believe was intended.

Sorry all

I have been gone for the last week looking to fill the fourth leg hunt and no Bob not that fourth leg ??

Anyway the top buck scores 175 it was the first buck of the year the second buck that my daughter harvested was 183 I am guessing the third buck that my wife harvested in Idaho will go upper 160s she passed on a few bigger but said she liked this one so she hunted him for 3 days til she got him.

Anyway thanks for the comments hope everyone had a good year
