Couple of decent Saskatchewan bucks

Here's a few decent bucks from opening week in Saskatchewan. First one is my Dad's, big framed 4x3, 23" inside, 26" main beams, grossed a shade over 180. If he had the other G3 he would've been a sold upper 180's deer. Second is my mutant pig of a buck. Unfortunately he put more effort into his body than his rack. His left side and mass are pretty good, but his right side never really took off. His body was absolutely gigantic, even by Sask. standards. He dwarfed the other four bucks we got. For reference, I'm 6'-2" and weigh about 200#. I don't have pics of the the biggest we got, but sure wish I did, a perfect 4x4 that grossed 191 and change. Also brought back a nice young 165" 4x4. It was a good week. Saw the non-typ I really wanted. Looked hard for most of the week, but couldn't close the deal on him, so I dropped fatty on the last afternoon. Last one is a 9x6 non-typ with four mass measurements over 6", and a total of 46"+ mass. Doesn't score real well, but sure looks good. Our hunting buddy has internet paranoia, so I blacked out his gigantic head.

Oh yeah, my Dad is 66 years old and stayed on my heals 7-10 miles a day, 5 days straight. Hope I can do that in 20 years.

Good job on the bucks Ward. It looks like a good trip. No luck with the bow this year?

Hey Cam. My bow season was pretty much shot. My wife had surgery in early Sept. so I wasn't able to get out much at all. Had a blast with the rifle though.

dang, i missed this one...sorry. great bucks...congrats to all. thanks for the good pics, too..
