My 2006 Nebraska Whitetail...

Here's a picture of the buck I shot this morning...I didn't see a seperate section for whitetail's, so I hope its ok I post it here.

I knew this buck was on the farm I was hunting, and I knew I would have a hard time passing on him if I saw him during season....the buck I was actually hunting was a much bigger 5x5, anyway here's a picture of the buck I killed this morning.

I last saw this buck last wednesday, and he had broken off a 6" point since then.

Im heading to Nebraska in December. What part of the state were you in?

I'm in the extreme Southeast corner of Nebraska, about 4 miles from the Kansas line, and 25 miles from the Missouri line.

What part of the state will you be hunting??

I assume you'll be blackpowder hunting??

Great pictures walkerdawg. I am heading to the same general area for the opener of the Kansas hunt on the 29th of this month. I can't wait. I am hunting near Washington Kansas which sounds pretty close to where you were at. I would love to score on a buck like yours.

AWHOLELOTTABULL....Yep, you'll be about 45 miles SW of where i'm at...I have a brother in law that is the county extension agent for Washington County...you should have good luck in that country, lots of big bucks.
