I heard from Bruce Hudson that Hans Frahm,a sportsmen from Las Vegas NV bagged a huge mulie on the Arizona Strip during his recent hunt there.

Frahm was hunting with his best friend and Arizona Wildlife Outfitters guide Bruce Hudson and his friend from CA, Paul English.

The buck was found on Wednesday, Nov. 15 by Frahm, according to Hudson, but wasn't taken until Friday, November 17.

The buck is 36 1/4 inches wide and again according to Hudson, will score around the magic 200 inch mark.

Hudson noted that in a touch of irony that on November 17, 2005, Frahm bagged a desert ram in Nevada that also had 36 inch horns and scored 167 B&C!

Congratulations to Hans, Bruce and Paul. A great team with an absolute great buck!

Hudson, who is a regular contributor to MM said that photos will be forthcoming of the buck!

Oh, how did they spot this trophy? Hudson said they were glassing an area they had been to on several occasions prior to and during the first few days of the hunt.

No chute planes, satellite imagery,or trail cams were used to find this great trophy.

Just lots of glassing in an area where big bucks have been taken over the years by both AWO and other knowledgable hunters.

I saw some photos of a couple of other great bucks that were taken this year up there before I left, so I suspect we'll be seeing some other photos of Strip bucks in the weeks to come.

Hey averagejoe are you going to road hunt this year and shoot your deer from
from your truck? before legal shooting light.....Hmmm

good luck bro....

shedreg,
not cool !that was a super lame deal last year!i try to forget it ever happened.roadhunter is the furthest thing from what i am.
i have been scouting 12b as far away from roads as i can (there are a ton of roads out there)and i have been scouting areas that are to rough for the average "road hunter".we saw around 100 deer last night up there.looking forward to a great hunt.took me 9 years to draw it.
thanks
