Might have a chance for an LO tag here for elk.I've heard some good reports.Looking at the rifle hunt,Oct1-14.Anyone got any info they would care to share?I live in SW Wy,so would be able to scout some.I could share Wy info as well. What say ye?

It is a good unit average bulls about 320 but I have seen a few in the 360+ range come out of there. Late dates do cause alot of broken points.

LAST EDITED ON Aug-19-11 AT 06:00PM (MST)[p]WCL&L told me the 5 tags had all been sold back in June.....??

Won't those rifle dates interfere with your guiding for an Outfitter in Wyo 102 deer and 30/31/32 elk in Wyoming?

lot's of Quad Queer access east of 191 though...

was there aug 17th saw 6 6points 300 to 320 range 5 were rub off 1 not all had week 3rds good mass good length good with. all on water holes . early morning. guy i know had tag 2 years ago killed 350 class 5 point was the bigest he could find.

I heard they were asking $9,500 for these tags. It would be pretty easy killing a bull bigger than those on pleasedears web page, but not worth $9,500. I would have to tell you to not lose any sleep over not getting the tags, there are many hunts better for the money!

Not the best photo's of the bulls that is for sure---but pretty much the most harvested type bulls out of the unit. 310--330 with the one caped dandy even though he was broke.

I need to get it updated with the last 3 years of Rams--Bulls photo's.....and a couple that came off the late muzzy hunt.

Ever since the group out of Louisiana stopped buying all 5 tags it has been helter skelter with guys buying them and then re-selling them----2nd, 3rd party for inflated prices.
