Any one seeing and good bulls on the manti this year???

I have spent two camping trips in three weeks up there and they are scattered!! Still tons of major snow drifts up top. The Manti has always held a lot of water holes, but I have never seen this much water and green feed from up high to down low. Seen elk in all of my usual places but no bulls worth getting hyped up about. They usually don't show up in my holes for another month.

We went down last weekend and saw a really nice 6x6, 340-350 range, right beside the road just south of Thistle. He was pushing 6 or so cows and we got him to bugle 3 times right from the road! Man I love hearing them bugle. Only problem was he was on the wrong side of the road.
We got down to where I shot my bull last year and found a core rig set up. So no elk there. We did see some elk in one of the other areas I scouted but they were doing mock 12 across the mountain as there were archery hunters a couple hundred yards behind.
I could not believe the amount of archery hunters down there last weekend. The dirt roads looked like freeways! Road hunter make me laugh. We were stopped looking at a little two point that was 50 yards off the road. This guy on a four wheeler pulls up and ask if we are hunting? We say no and says he is going to try for the two point. The deer is 50 yards in the wide open looking at us! I think the guy is just going to shoot it..ohh no... he try's to make a stock! LOL He did make it two steps off the road before the deer bolted. We did see a lot of little bucks.

Good glad to hear you guys are seeing something. What you you guys say a good bull would be for this year?? 330 or 350 ish????

Damn good shot at tag soup if you hold out for a 350" on the Manti. My word of advice, you see a bull you would be happy with, regardless of score, go for him. There are some toads there but in all reality, 320 to 330 will be a damn good accomplishment you could walk away with your head held high.

I dont personally have a tag, but my buddy has one. He got lucky and drew the premium tag. Has been seeing alot of 320ish bulls. Nothing really big yet.

Hunter99, I will be down there for a week durring the muzzy hunt trying to scounge up one of the few big bucks down there somewhere between all the little dinks. If you will be in the vacinity I can give you a holler if I see anything for your friend.
