LAST EDITED ON Sep-09-11 AT 10:12PM (MST)[p]There's a post on here about a bookcliffs bull. I can't speak to how that bull came to be under a tree. However, things do happen that you can't make up. Sometimes 5hit happens.

I can understand all but those two hanging on the power lines. How the crap did that happen???

IDK the story on the ram, but believe the moose was in Alaska. They were laying some line for a couple miles and then winched it up. Apparently the bull got hooked up in the line while it was on the ground and went up with the line. They got him down alive, but he was in pretty bad shape and was killed. Meat was delivered to whom ever they deliver it to up there. So the story was when I read it a year or two ago.

I dont know for sure but I think poachers had something to do with all of them. No other explanation for them. Even the hanging ones.

+1

before the wires or lines can go up on the poles you lay it out on the ground with a yanhmar or a 4-wheeler or truck. then another crew behind you starts putting the wires on the poles. when that is all done there is slack in the wires. that would be the time for an animal to get wraped up and the crew on one end tightens the slack. it happens. i was on a line crew and all we ever got stuck on the line was some branches.
