Here is a buck I shot on the eastern plains of Colorado. Glassed him from a long distance and after a 2 hour stalk shot him at 250 yards in his bed with my .270 and Barnes 130 grain TSX.

This was a guided hunt with Comanche Wilderness Outfitters, here is the guide Scott Kipp with the buck.

That is a Dandy!! What a great lookin' buck....lots of charcter on him as well. Congrats to ya.

Great buck! What's the closest town to Comanche's Ranch? I just got back from a hunt near La Junta and we never saw anything of that caliber!

Sweeet!!! Congrats. on an awesome Buck.

Gotta love those "Stud" Colorado Bucks eh!

Yes, it is a special place. Here is a whitetail I shot last year not far from where the muley was killed.

Those sure are a couple of brutes!
Thanks for sharing them with us and congrats!

Awesome buck!!! Doesn't look like those bucks out there can find any pine trees. Sure are light colored antlers. Big though, and that's what counts!!

PS - Send me an email and photo for the Big Buck Contest.

Trees are scarce in those parts, I watched bucks rubbing on sagebrush but as you can see from all the velvet still on the muley, it doesn't work too well.

Awsome bucks. Love that mulleys antler configuration. He will make an fantastic wall mount. Congrats.

Nice deer for sure. This is exactly why I posted my question about shooting small bucks. Smoking deer.

Fantastic, beautiful bucks! Congratulations. I agree with previous post about not shooting younger bucks, this is what can happen if you don't feel the need to take just anything because you can.

Awesome deer with lots of character. Congrats. Eastern Colorado sure has some great deer. Western Kansas is also a hot spot. My dad killed a monster out there last year (don't have a pic to post, but I'll try to get my hands on one).

Mike,
Congrats again on the buck. Just goes to show that us SD boys know how to spot and shoot! Can't believe we went to the same high school - although you were way ahead of my time! Ha! You owe me one. I am thinking a good payback would be a 360+ NM bull elk?!?! Keep in touch. Limmer.
