Sweet bull! What was the deal with the bull you found dead?

Thanks for the comments guys. We found that dead bull about 150-200 yards off a main road. My buddy stopped on the side of the road to listen for bugles and saw all the birds and he knew something had to be dead over in that direction and he was right. Afterwards we called the G&F and they sent an officer out a few days later to check it out. The G&F guy couldn't find any evidence that the bull didn't die of natural causes. He determined the bull died do to an injury cause by fighting but it was hard to tell what happened. It was very hard to persuade the officer to let us take the horns but he finally caved and my buddy was able to take the horns home with him. From my understanding it is very hard to get the G&F to allow you to take horns from a dead animal so we got very lucky.
