Wasatch Bull

After a few days of hunting and passing on some bulls my buddy decided to try and get this bull. We spotted him from 1000+ yards away and made are move in on him. As we got closer the bull and his cows made there way into a patch of Aspens. I told my buddy to set up and I would walk high on them and try and spook them out. The elk came out as planned and the bull stopped with a bugle and gave him the shot he needed. Awesome hunt!

That is one very nice looking bull!! Congrats to the hunter and congrats to you too wfm for coming up with a good solid plan and having it come together for your buddy. That had to be a rush in itself.

I have to agree with you 1911, it not only looks awkward it looks dangerous with such a beautiful rack in the upright position on his back. Orange on it or not I can't see from this photo if there is enough orange to help, especially during a rifle season. Glad everything turned out ok. Great bull!!

I agree with you guys on the pack being dangerous.. As you can see the road and the 4 wheeler is only 100 yards away. The Elk was on a heck of an incline and we dragged the bull straight down to the flat....I basically loaded the head on this new OX pack frame I bought just to see how it carried...Thanks guys for the kind words!
