2011 Navajo Nation Archery Bull

This bull was taken on the Navajo Nation Archery Hunt. The bull scores 435 gross. This was the hunters first ever elk.

Yeah, they did the same thing last year. Shot a 406" bull on the first weekend of the archery hunt. A girl got him. It was her family's 3rd or 4th 400" bull. they have some good ones there. Me and terra saw a couple 380's but nothing bigger. She ended up taking a 330 bull in the late season and I shot a 355 in the early hunt.

Do you guys just assume everybody has a use for the cape? Some people don't have the skills. Some people don't have 800 bucks for a shoulder mount, and some people really don't care that much about the antlers or just want a euro mount or the horns in their yard.

Even if in this case if you were joking, this seems to be the standard line here on monstermuleys when someone sees that, God-forbid, someone didn't cape the animal.

Nope just messing around and joking. Just and inside joke with me and others. THat bull is a stud. I know what it;s like to not have money to mount things. I killed a nice bull and am a taxidermist and don't even have the money to mount it. Just for future reference you could of sold that cape for over $300. Couple of those sold and you could pay to have that pig mounted.

Wow what a stud of a bull, The mass says it all.
I bet they never even thought of having him shoulder mounted, Not the way most of them roll. I'm sure he will end up sold to a bidder down the road.
