Got my Wyoming bull.

I had a quick hunt, finding this bull about an hour into the opening morning. A short stalk and one shot later, I had my largest bull elk to date.

Thanks guys for all the kind words! Had to go to the ER this morning when I was caping him out, and ran a utility knife blade right though the middle of my finger-nail. Paid $300 to find out from the DR. that it is easier to repair a lacerated fingernail by gluing on a fake finger-nail, than it is to remove the nail and stitch the laceration.

I was able to take care of another iron in the fire this afternoon. Took my two of my three out for a doe antelope hunt. My daughter took her first big game animal, and my oldest whacked two does.

It's been a great couple of days! Except the ER visit.

I just butchered 4 antelope and a big bull elk.... no cuts. Then I was opening the seal on a pill bottle and slippind and ran it into my thumb! @*%#&! OOPS!

Hour hunt is a pretty good deal sometimes, You got a prety nice bull for a hour hunt, NOW if you did a 3 hour hunt and you might turned up a 380, LOL
Glad the finger thing turned out good. Some like you guys might have to get more freezer space soon. I would fix that broken tine too.
