I'm going to say he's over that magical 200" mark. The curve of the antlers are deceptive and the point lengths are better than they look. If you could straighten out the curve a little, he would look as impressive as he scores. Of course, if I killed that buck thinking it was a 200"er, it would shrink right down to 160" by the time I got to it - I've got to run faster.
I know a few others have all ready guessed the same but when I first saw the photos, I thought 196 so I will stick with that guess. Awesome buck what ever he scores. Gotta love the long curved in tines.
I could see this buck going 180", but I with larrbo on this one, I think he's around 178-180.

When the guy brought me this head to score I thought it might make 180 and the awards program. It hung in my house a few days and the more I looked at it the better it got. The main beams are 24-6/8 and 24-5/8. It grosses 193-6/8 and nets 191-3/8. Greatest spread is 25-2/8 and the inside is 20-7/8. This is an alltime booner that would get passed up standing next to alot of non-book 30 inchers.
Thanks D13er. I would have never guessed above 190. Although I guessed 170ish I wouldn't have passed this guy up. I would take a buck with mass and tine length any day over the 30" with not as much tine length and mass.
