idaho salmon river unit question

I was going to have the shepp ranch run us up and do a camp for mule deer on the beaches of the salmon river but i dont want to be stuck in one spot and have to hike up a mile or so before i can every day, so i was wonderin if any one had any info on do it your self hunt were we can drive in some were and camp maybe around the town of salmon or some were close that we can go scouting this summer and learn a new area.

I have lived and hunted in Idaho my entire life. The bottom of that canyon is not where I would want to start, for the very reason you mentioned. I don't know how to PM. Call me, if you'd like personal experience on do-it-yourself hunts. Grant (208) 233-4150
