I am looking into doing a hunt for a Nice Muley in the next couple of years. While I would love to go to Mexico I am thinking that is a bit out of my price range. I don't need a "Book" Deer, but I would love a typical between 170 and 190. Any ideas or help and where would be the best area?

I'd check with Rusty Lim of Grizzly Peak outfitters. He also happens to be one of the site's sponsors. I've hunted with him several times and am impressed. 190 bucks are few and far between anywhere, and particularly in the price you've mentioned. Still, I'd check with him. He's got some good deer.

I hate to admit it but I'm thinkin of a guided hunt this fall also, time's a changin and there ain't many place's to hunt any more worth a darn, so may as well find some one who knows his area and that has potential ?.. but I'm thinkin Nevada ?

Archery is your ticket, I know it sounds intimidating if you haven't done it for a while but for the opportunities your searching for. I took it up again last year & had some aw some opportunity at less cost & had more fun doing so since you will see so much more game.

Check in southern Canada, & Colorado.
